The best campus study spots of 2018
It’s that time of year again! When the weather gets colder and the days get darker sooner, you know final exams are around the corner. While you prepare to rock this semester’s exams, be sure to check out these campus study spots!
Quiet Study Spots
Honors College Library
You may not know it, but we actually have another library other than Golda Meir on campus. It’s in the Honors House! This spot is much smaller and has a cozy vibe to set the mood for a productive study sesh.
Palm Gardens (during the day)
At night, Palm Gardens in Sandburg is busy with people looking for a bite to eat, but during the day before the cafe opens, it’s as peaceful as, well, palm trees! If you live in the residence halls, check it out.
Third floor of the Golda Meir Library
If you love books, you’ll love the third floor of the library. It features a multitude of quiet nooks surrounded by walls of bookshelves — the perfect study spot for focusing and minimizing distractions!
Active Study Spots
Union Grind
If you’re the type of person who needs background noise when you study, then the hustle & bustle of the Union Grind is a great study spot choice. Get motivated by other studying students, and of course, a cup of joe!
The Gasthaus
Do you like to snack while you study? Then the Gasthaus is the place for you! With a french fry in one hand and pencil in the other, you’ll be ready to take on that study guide!
Your Residence Hall common space
If you live in the residence halls, check out the common area outside of your room for cozy chairs and an opportunity to collaborate with other students!
We hope you’ve had a great school year so far and can’t wait to see what the next semester holds. Good luck on finals, Panthers!
