7 Students & Alums Share Why They Chose UWM
Whether it’s a specific major you’re looking for, a great location, connections or a sense of home, choosing where you’ll spend the next few years is a big decision and should be celebrated. In honor of National College Decision Day (May 1), we asked current students, alumni and future Panthers what helped them choose UWM. Check out their responses!
“I chose UWM because of how much our campus and city have to offer. UWM has a very diverse campus and offers organizations and clubs to all types of people and interests. With all that UWM has to offer, I found it very simple to make friends and connect with people with similar interests. My favorite part about UWM is our location. Being located in the city of Milwaukee makes our campus THAT much better. Milwaukee is packed full of so many fun things to do, you will never find yourself bored here.” — Autumn

“I chose UWM because of the amazing atmosphere that I’ve experienced the multiple times I have visited. All of the staff and current students are so kind and thoughtful, especially to someone who will be new to the school. Overall, everything on campus is truly amazing and I know that I will enjoy every minute I’m on campus with the students and staff! Go PANTHERS!” — Emma
